Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of taskru, markru, and liferu (together, "the Ru series apps"; each, "the App"), provided by Kazunobu Tsujino, an independent developer. By downloading or using an App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The apps

The Ru series apps are personal productivity and logging tools provided on an "as is" basis. The developer may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create in the apps, and you are responsible for that content. Because the apps are local-first, you are responsible for keeping your own backups; content may be lost if you delete an App or lose your device, and the developer is not responsible for lost data.

3. AI features

Some features generate text or suggestions using on-device AI. This output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is not professional advice. Please review important content yourself before relying on it.

4. Optional supporter purchases

Where offered, an App may include an optional one-time "supporter" purchase. Supporter purchases are voluntary, unlock no additional functionality, and are handled by Apple through the App Store. Pricing, billing, and refunds are subject to Apple's terms; refund requests are made to Apple.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the apps — including by attempting to reverse engineer them except as permitted by law, interfering with their operation, or using them for unlawful purposes.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The developer does not warrant that the apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the apps.

8. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the apps after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or relating to the apps or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan as the court of first instance.
