Frequently asked questions

What do I need to run the apps?

The apps run on iPhone with a recent version of iOS. The AI-powered features — such as summaries, diary generation, and tag suggestions — use Apple Intelligence and require iOS 26 or later on a supported device.

The AI features aren't working.

Apple Intelligence has its own language setting, separate from your iPhone's system language. If AI features don't appear or don't respond, open Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri › Language and set it to a supported language (for example English or Japanese), then reopen the app. The AI features also require a device and iOS version that support Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 or later).

Where is my data stored? Is it private?

The content you create stays on your device, and — for taskru and markru — optionally in your own iCloud. The developer cannot read it, and the apps include no advertising and no third-party tracking. For full details, see the Privacy Policy.

How do I export or back up my data?

All three apps let you export your data from within the app, so you can keep your own backup or move it elsewhere. markru can also export your notes as a ZIP archive.

How do I report a bug or get help?

Email the developer at autodaylog.help@gmail.com. Including your device model and iOS version helps with troubleshooting. The apps are made by a single developer, so replies may take a little time.
